I never had much sympathy for gentry panic — we're up against real threars, but it's also an extension of the fight for survival most of us have waged our entire lives — but early 2025 some of it could be understood as breakdowns. So, the regime is much weaker than it was in 2025. Attempts to control cities largely failed/backfired, the public's more mobilized, it's hemorrhaging political support, Kirk became a laughingstock rather than venerated. Us supposedly doomed "stay and fight" trans folks are still very much here.

Hell, you can't even download them if you bought them back in the day. The only reason we can even play them nowadays is because of a reverse-engineered PC port done by the community. Even then, Infinity Blade 3 is still unplayable outside of hacking or just having it on an old Apple device.
