Kotaku parading that garbage "recompilation" Generation 1 Pokémon project is genuinely upsetting. I was hoping the communities would reject vibe coded garbage, but these people are now intentionally hiding the usage and even lying that it's hand-written to peddle their slop onto others.

It's the end of the month and I am about $400 short on rent, partially because of getting jerked around on dental surgery. If you can help out, I really need to fill in the gap so I don't get evicted. ko-fi.com/blazehgehg/g...

Idk if Pac-Man has an official Bluesky account, but Bandai Namco just posted this survey about PMW2 Re-Pac. Lots of good questions in here about all the new content and features, AND they ask about Pac-Man World 3, or a possible new entry 👀 t.co/kptGNBQkzN

The Japanese games ( Ouendan ) have Japanese music from the era, really good experience too if you like the style of EBA

EBA is one of my all time favorites! If you like it, definitely give the Ouendan games on DS a shot too

Alright folks, time for me to request some #mutualaid. 9 months of not being able to find a job. State work program sent me back to school to help prospects, but I still can't pay rent. Called in favors, running out of money again, $375 due by the end of the week. (1/?) ko-fi.com/blazehgehg/g...

Thank you, this has been driving me crazy. I still Have Opinions, but seeing everyone fawn over the wrong version of a game with an extremely hardware-dependent aesthetic has been making my eye twitch.

The Itch/Steam thing dropped off the trending tab. Therefore it's time to remind you again to swamp the payment processors with more calls. If the call volume dies down in under a week they aren't going to learn their lesson. Make them regret it.

The point of calling credit card companies isn't to make John Visa have moment of introspection and go "aw shucks I was wrong!" it's to grind business to a halt for such an extended period of time that all the higher ups who are real people with names and addresses decide that this isn't worth it

6. Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii - April 23 2025.Middle of the game felt like a lot of filler to me, but Chapter 1, 4, and 5 were all great. Fun little side story.

4. Assassin's Creed Shadows - April 15th 2025. Ubisoft Quebec still can't write an engaging story. Stealth gameplay was great, but the story peaked in Act 1. The end of Yasuke's missions was great, but the other 40 hours of story felt like poorly paced filler.

There's actually a good number of switch games that require a download to play. Off the top of my head the GTA and Mega Man collections.

3. Dead Rising 2 - Finished January 26th 2025. The last item I replayed this was shortly after OTR came out. Was happy to see GFWL got patched out at some point. Combo Weapons were a fun addition but definitely had me using the environment a lot less. Hoping this one gets a remaster sometime.

2. Dead Rising 2: Case Zero - Finished Jan 14th 2025. After finishing DRDR I wanted to go back and replay the rest of the series. Grabbed it Series X since I never actually played the Xbox Exclusive DR2 side games back in the day. Short and sweet.

Gonna keep this as a thread to track whatever games I've been in 2025 since I always forget. 1. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster - Finished Jan 11th 2025. Not a perfect remake, but it really feels like a return to form for the series regardless. I hope Capcom continue DR.

Yeah if you compare the sonic Movies against something like Coco or Spider-Verse it's night and day. Sonic 3 had scenes where it really felt like it wanted to tell a compelling story for all ages though, but then they can't resist undercutting it with a joke every time.

110

Melpontro @melpontro.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

I really wish I enjoyed Sonic 3, but the placement of so many of the jokes was just insufferable. The contrast between the story beats and action scenes vs the Jim Carrey shenanigans was too much for me. It was less jarring in the first two for me due to the lighter tone overall I think.
