Another Fun Fact: Heritage Foundation founder Paul Weyrich capitalized on white resentment of anti-segregation laws to mobilize angry white Christians who were pissed that the Nixon admin revoked tax exempt status of their de facto segregated schools. That’s how the Heritage Foundation began!
