The midterms have turned my TV in Northern Vermont into an election ad hellscape. We are in the NH and NY media markets, so watching Jeopardy means sitting through NH Senate ads and NY-21 ads. Plus our own governor remembered that he should campaign for re-election. Sheesh.

We watched the fireworks at Smuggler's Notch. Some kids gave my kids glow bracelets. It was a clear and cool evening in the Green Mountains. It was the perfect way to celebrate. Happy 250th, America!

I got our cat a treat puzzle, and it's fantastic! We also learned that he's left-handed, which means we are now officially a major leftie household! 5/5 Highly recommend!

We are a Disney family, and I'm raising 3rd Gen Disney fans. My 4th grader is currently obsessed with Michael Jackson, along with all of his classmates. Naturally, this means that I introduced him to Captain Eo tonight. It's a deep cut that I doubt his friends have seen or know exists.
