Is there a thing in one of the Dissidia games or something where the protags of 5, 8, and 9 are grouped together because I see fan art of those three specifically together weirdly often

Xenosaga gonna be another one of those series that I can't look at the fandom too much solely because it centers around a platonic relationship I really love and get a lot out of for being that way but everyone just makes it romantic. Which I'm not saying is Wrong or anything but I let it get to me

It's impossible for me to think about Rewrite's ending without crying. If it crosses my mind once it's fucking over for me for the next thirty minutes because the essence of love as a concept just got beamed into my head from glancing at a few images permanently lodged in my mindspace

Localization discourse no one asked for: Should Rena Ryuuguu's name have been translated as Lenna?

Dear trans gals Stop saying "good girl" to folks you don't even know. It's creepy and weird and crossing all kinds of boundaries If you're friends or know the gal and know they don't mind that's fine, rock on, but I get strangers saying that shit for getting my vaccine or finishing a script and EW

#MelnoSaga I thought I was getting lost and overlooked a piece of information to help me follow what was happening because the Japanese is difficult but it turns out I didn't and the game is just like this

#MelnoSaga I'm watching the PS2 cutscenes on the side One change made in the DS game is that Jiggy and Momo were on the Erza(?) cargo ship to begin with. They're employed by the Kukai Foundation and were the getaway ride at U-TIC

that twitter still has a lot of normal people on it is the main problem! it would be a lot better if it was exclusively fascists and the blast radius of their propaganda was smaller! truth social isn't warping brains that weren't already warped

Final Fantasy localization is so funny because they'll slap the same names on completely different things and also make up different names for things that are the same All I'm saying is it makes a funny experience playing one and hearing about the other

This sucks for many reasons. But I think it's worth emphasizing how selfish and duplicitous it is to go work with a public-facing, community-focused media org like MinnMax without disclosing this part of your past to them. (MinnMax confirmed to me they were not told.) Please support them if you can

We live in a society that punishes people who are assaulted. We question them, we shame them, we disbelieve them. Many survivors instinctively do that societal work for us. Survivors question themselves, they shame themselves, they don't believe their own version of events. We've trained them!

#MelFFX I really don't mind the hallway area design tbh it sets the pace of the story progression well. I've also never been a diehard fan of the world map, if anything it's always made the world feel small to me. No complaints here 👍
