Dune should be titled like the fast and the furious. Dune, Duning it again, Duning to me one more time

Tiny rant why do colour context lens still stick out like a sore thumb in movies/tv. I get if a character is supposed to have piercing blue eyes but all I can see is plastic discs. Either change the detail to brown eyes or hire someone with blue eyes.

Video game music is such a strange spectrum. You can have midi blips and bloops but also orchestral masterworks that get released as 4 disc LPs that I can't afford on Discogs (Disco Elysium I'm talking about you). Both get stuck in my head and delight me. Anyway here's Saria's song.

Amazon deleted my purchase of a show I bought less than a year ago because it was now only available on the UK site even though I purchased it in Ireland and watched it in Ireland and wanted to watch it again months later in Ireland. The solution I got my money refunded and am buying the dvd.

Went to a great talk there a few weeks ago about what we do with the art made by people who have done bad things. One of the answers was to think to yourself can you separate the art from the stain left by the artist. Can you still enjoy it even with the information you now have.

This is precisely what pisses me off about AI in the creative industries. Even when you're not looking for it, it infects everything around it. Slop everywhere.

Going with my mum to the supermarket and this meme pops into my head every time. I’m 54.

The famous Slipknot backstage meme. A normal looking person chatting to a man in a mask A shorter man in a more elaborate monster mask looks at the camera. They are captioned me, my mum talking for twenty minutes, some person we bumped into at the shops.
