So our oil aumbry candle doesn’t last a full week. Altar guild fills all oil candles once a week. Sexton is back up. I checked—we currently don’t have any reserved sacrament. Should we not worry about out when the candle goes out or should we remove the candle so it looks like it’s out on purpose. ⚓️

I went to medical school to learn how to heal, only to realize that in our current health care system, too often the hospital is part of the problem. So I dedicated my career to public health. I got to rebuild the health department in the beautiful city of Detroit.

A 5-year-old Texan just spent the first day of school in an ICE detention center. ICE kidnapped Liam Tadeo on his way to a soccer game with his dad. Liam should be in kindergarten. Instead, our government has thrown him in a prison camp hundreds of miles from home.

Well that was fun. Two clergy who I first “met” here in #narthex met each other in person at my parish. One is our Parish Chaplain and the other is temporarily living in our rectory and worshiped with us while on vacation from the parish where he’s doing his curacy. ⚓️
