There are some pieces of paleoart that to my eye are so fantastic that I regularly come back to them to just stare and marvel them. Peter Trusler has made many such pictures but these 3 particular ones are just of such exquisite quality that they take my breath away every time.

Some of the studies I made of the extinct megatooth shark Otodus megalodon, for an upcoming commission I can hopefully share soon. Megalodon is known almost exclusively from fossil teeth, which have not been found articulated with jaws.

This is setting off a lot of red flags. If your paper claims to have developed a method to detect beaky-ness in fossil animals, all of the beaky taxa should be grouping. Turtles being so far removed from sauropods+birds in every analysis tells me that this measurement has nothing to do with beaks.

Getting Willie out on display,replacing the stupid Xiphactinus. Willie has massive shark bite marks on its lower jaw. A result of getting scavenged after death. This is a large Plesioplatecarpus from the liwer Niobrara chalk of western Kansas. 86.5 million years old.
