Going to Harvard had the opposite effect for me, in the sense that while it affirmed that I was a bright teenager, it also humbled me sufficiently (at times, maybe a little too much). I think I emerged more level headed than I went in. It doesn’t do that for everyone who goes there obviously.

It seems like a bit of a problem that urbanism-aligned e-bike advocates are largely talking about like, Aventon, Urban Arrow, Velotric etc. style bikes that none of the kids who are terrorizing SoCal towns would touch with a barge pole for being uncool. These kids are getting mini motorbikes.

I’m so sick of the Lime Scooters and Gliders man. Feels like since I’ve been walking more as the cycling season winds down I’m getting close-passed on the sidewalk by someone riding a Lime vehicle every day. More reports of crashes in downtown/waterfront bike lanes involving them too.
