A few yeara back he did an amazing end-of-the-world drama called These Final Hours. It left me feeling shell-shocked by the end. He seems to love taking these genre settings and putting really hard-hitting drama in them.

we bury the dead. interesting. it wears a horror movie's clothes but I don't think it qualifies. it's a meditation on loss and grief with zombies. I think it could exist in the world of the NEWSFLESH novels. nice work but I can see why it didn't catch. the niche doesn't really allow for subtlety
