Is there anything more sad than people wandering the streets of downtown Columbus on the weekend? #osusubtweet

Still on mute: all the self-appointed guardians of the game (who also happen to be white and male and European -- and when have folks like that ever put a foot wrong?) that I follow bc of Arsenal. Plenty of Gunners out there to follow that aren't that. Diversity is a blessing!

We have fledge! 11-week-old bald eagle at Smith Rock State Park in Oregon! Shot with Canon 77D, 200mm lens.

Eaglet flying left to right through the valley with wings spread wide showing a cream and brown pattern on the underside of the wings.

Eaglet looking really fierce sitting on a branch

Coming in for a landing, talons extended, wings in a v shape.

Question. And I don't know how easy this would be to research. Do European nations disproportionately suffer when they have to travel across many time zones for the Mundial (as compared to other continents)?

Turns out you can lose the Champions League final on penalties and wake up the next day and enjoy an incredibly life-affirming experience. After all these years, an Arsenal fanbase united is something to behold. Soak it all up. Enjoy every drop. Don’t forget these moments. Cherish every memory. ❤️

If it doesn't feel supportive to the person, it's not support. It's something you're doing to suit your own needs.

Also, most of the actors/crew/writers/etc. don't want to work 10-, 14-, 18-hour days six days a week for 26 weeks. It may suck for us to not have as shows or whatever (and this is definitely a Trek thing). For me, a interesting question is: why would we put them through that sort of work hell?

Ah, just muted Weir for 7 days and my Treksky feed is mostly back to normal. It's ok to amplify someone who said something negative about something we like. What we feel is what we feel ! It's also ok not to amplify said person. IDIC

This really is an encapsulation of what being an American is: experiencing something needlessly cruel and profoundly stupid while propaganda you can’t turn off blares about how free and lucky you are

I feel like it's my duty watch the ads on YouTube -- we learn so much by the type and quality of ads presented. Both whom this crap is by, and for.

Trekmovie.com reporting the Starfleet Academy comic is not AI. The characters "not doing anything" was a reason ppl cited that it was AI. As a designer, I can only imagine the extra prod meeting hell if they were doing more! Sometimes less is better! 😁☀️🖖💙 trekmovie.com/2026/02/17/c...

I don't know for sure whether the comic in Starfleet Academy is AI/not. Some elements suggest yes, some are explainable thru normal production decisions (and I bet my reasons for yes are different from yours -- we could have a fun discussion about design if anyone included *what* they don't like!).

This gets to something that as a former stand-up I recognized but couldn’t name. A 31 year old professional content creator baiting 19 year old amateurs into the format of his choice isn’t debate, it’s crowd work. It’s debate-shaped crowd work farmed for content.
