Perhaps a personal failing, but I can't think of many things I love that I would want to see buried and painted over. I can't think of anything I love that I need saved from the context of it's creation. But often I feel like people don't love things. They love the memory of things.

The BDS boycott against Xbox is specifically targeted with material goals. It is not a personal purity test one imposes upon purchases for the sake of gauging idealistic commitment. You cannot "what about" with other purchases when they are not part of a legitimate organized movement.

i think it's good actually that a videogame prominently featuring AI voice acting is finding success while my VA friends haven't found steady work in years and have their rates forcibly ground into dust over the few reliable gigs left but hey the game is really fun right!!!!!!!

for the things I'm knowledgeable in, I know I can do a better job than the AI, and for the things I'm not knowledgeable in, I can't be sure that anything it tells me is correct. so what does that leave, generating stuff that doesn't need to be correct in the first place? it's a toy and little more

My only reaction to the GTA 'news' is that it's a game not coming out for a whole year and so I cannot even begin to care about it. Do you have ANY IDEA how much stuff is coming out between now and then? In just the next month? Far as I'm concerned, it doesn't exist until the week before launch.
