My former colleagues, Mark Cane and Stephen Zebiak, were the first to successfully predict El Niño more than a year in advance in the late 1980s. Now we’re really good at it, and know the consequences. It’d be irresponsible for governments not to take action. Read this from my buddy Jeff Shaman.

We found some more fraud, waste, and abuse. The third government-funded Trump ad has been identified by AdImpact in recent days. The latest ad is nearly identical to a video Trump posted during his 2024 presidential campaign. It shows him walking down a hallway declaring, “This is the final battle.”

Trump says he’s in “deciding mode” on Iran: “My question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up? They better behave.” But what Trump’s own UN ambassador just said about how long this war could last speaks volumes.
