I didn't put any deadlines on this one, & I think I rushed the import on Unreal. As such, I wasn't motivated to do iterate on the precedent phases. But 1 year later i find it pretty cool. Now that I have Boxcutter&Hardops, i'm more than curious to do more Hard surface assets!

People liked this video back when I posted it on Twitter, so I'll repost it on here for fresh eyes 👀 This is a way of creating masks out of painterly textures and using those to quickly lay down interesting shapes and strokes early on for some nice stylized colour and roughness variation!
