SERIOUS ANSWER: forget a fifth Jaws movie. Just give us a film adaptation of the play The Shark Is Broken by Joseph Nixon and Robert Shaw's son Ian, a play that looks at the three leads filming Jaws. Or give us a taped performance of the play. Just SOME representation of The Shark Is Broken.

Scioli is reading TDKR page by page on YouTube - watching him on Page 1 got me wondering if Miller saw Yoshiaki Kawajiri’s “The Running Man.” so I checked and Miller’s driving sequence predates that anime by a year. pretty sure there’s no connection, but fascinating parallel evolution nonetheless.

Went to my 1st comix jam, had a fun time!

Little circle at a computer.

"We will now be brining this meeting of the shape united nations to order."

Circle sips some coffee while a blue triangle with rounded edges glares behind the circle.

The triangle puts it's hand over the mouth of the circle and says "Stay on mute and nobody gets hurt."

The circle splashes coffee on the triangle, getting the attention of the shape UN.

We jump to a court scene where a handcuffed triangle is declared guilty and put behind bars.

Finally finished the non Campbell arc by Campbell! Issue 3 didn't sit right but was executed well. #6 and 5 drawn by Kampe and Ganucheau were a little slight but I really liked the message of issue 6. Looking forward to talking about this with my bookclub. #comicsky

McCloud’s visualizations are similarly effective when he discusses how repetition and changing the space & size of panels can alter our perceptions of time. Note how McCloud emphasizes the use of formal elements to cultivate feelings–that is, to suggest meanings rather than prescribe them. 8/11
