I used to ride my acoustic bike in Manhattan every day and almost always at more than 20mph. I’ve also been hit in a crosswalk on Madison Ave. by a bike messenger doing somewhere around that speed. They need to put in some work to classify things and explain why they are uniquely dangerous.
