Amidst the driest Spring in 69 years, the National Drought Group says many water companies’ plan for drought is « simply praying for rain. » Selling off reservoirs, failing to invest, polluting our water – these acts undermine our national water security. It's time for public ownership.

Video this morning of a young girl in Gaza running engulfed in flames. This is not an isolated incident, Israel is doing this, or murdering Aid Workers, or executing paramedics every hour of every day. The Middle East needs to be saved from Israel.

The Brexiters simply have to be defeated now. There is no way of accommodating their emotional outbursts with the national interest. There's no way to improve our economy while respecting their demands. So they have to vanquished.

Labour's immigration announcement today is a reflection of the paucity of honest debate by BOTH political parties over the last decade on this issue. Labour has never made a counter-argument, or been honest about economic cost of immigration curbs, so it's stuck making Tory/Reform arguments 1/n

Tough decision for Hughes this summer, buy an established RB and potentially stifle Bradley's development, buy youth with potential and let them fight for the spot or buy someone experienced, happy to share minutes and give Bradley the room to grow, like an Endo type.

It's not that difficult, 5 policies that make the country better and will boost their polling figures 1) Reverse brexit 2) Nationalise rail, water & energy 3) Reverse NHS privatisation. 4) Close the tax loopholes (company and individual) 5) Raise the income tax threshold low and medium earners

What a fucking idiot, he's massively unpopular because of his pandering to the right and his plan is 'go further right' 🙃 How do they not understand it, he'll never win the reform vote, their policies are massively unpopular. We need to appose not pander.

The real lesson from #Labour’s poor showing is that its core vote doesn’t like the direction of the party under #Starmer and will stay home. Unfortunately, Mr. Disappointment will grasp the wrong straw and drag the party further to the Right.

The results show that despite unlimited support from the Media Nigel Farage is a deeply hated man and most people will never vote for him. The only way he can ever win is with a complete lack of any opposition. Oppose his policies don't copy them, they aren't popular.

The key chart right now: Usually US economic pain is cushioned by falling bond yields and a strengthening dollar, which mean lower interest rates and more spending power for consumers. This time we’re seeing the opposite, meaning the pain will be amplified.
