Switched to Brave last year and it's been a refreshing change. Fast and lean, TOR built in, and it remembers you feature settings so if you say No to AI it stays that way

And to expand a bit on this, when I say negging I mean she was in full tears afterwards and had to go back to our cabin to compose herself. He had to be right, even if it meant tearing her down over a Hugo Spritz I think. Completely unacceptable that she was treated that way.

Same cruise we had a dining experience where a waiter would only speak to me and ignored her except when she ordered. It was weird and creepy. We ended up speaking to our deck supervisor about it. I get it's a difficult job but still I'd expect some professionalism & hospitality guidelines from crew

Your story about the insistent waiter not happy the escargot was "fine" echoed a bad experience we had on a cruise where a bartender made my wife's drink wrong. He belittled her that she didn't know what St. Germain tastes like. It was like he was negging her to accept his opinion was the right one.

Reading the latest Xbox closure news... Seriously, fuck AAA gaming. Workers laid off while executives get golden parachutes. Pivoting to indies & retro gaming has been one the best decisions I made.

To be honest, there's better options now that legalization is expanding. When I realized I hadn't had a hangover in ages it was like a bit of a revelation.

Just curious, anything using USB power or have lots of LEDs? I had issues with a Circuit Tracks and Launchpad on the same household circuit as my gaming console setup. Drove me absolutely bonkers to find.

Don't go to the Modiphius site and see they've got a warehouse clearance sale going on that includes Skyrim and Fallout miniatures, and don't spend $40 buying $150 worth of Skyrim miniatures and sets. That'd be crazy.

Blizzard taking one of their iconic IPs, ignoring what made it unique & cool, bolting it on to a fading gaming trend, and then announcing it will be out years from now is the most AAAA game dev corp thing they could have done... I should look into that the indie RTS gaming scene is like now. Sigh...

Decided to rage-watch the rest of the episodes tonight... How is this critically acclaimed and got a second season!? No one makes smart decisions and it's like watching a bad Black Mirror "Bring Your Kid To Work Day" episode

I finally decided to watch Alien Earth... two episodes in and.... I don't think I've ever watched anything that literally scene by scene changes my opinion on it. "Inconsistent and muddled" comes to mind which is a shame because there are some brilliant cool ideas in it.

Watched "Backrooms" tonight... Seems like every major recent "indie" horror movie has a scene practically lifted from a David Lynch movie. Started off brilliant but.... eh... okay.

Lotta people dunking on this but in its defense this is very authentic to the experience of trying to pick up a new Marvel comic in the 80s/90s and having the comic store guy slap it out of your hands and assign you 16 collected volumes you'll have to read first to know wtf is happening

Agree with this completely! I dislocated my knee three times in early June. Doctor advised a brace and cane, especially while on vacation. I don't use it all the time but when I'm sore after PT or have a heavy walking day ahead of me I am VERY thankful I have a good cane

Trying out CachyOs today since I started getting crackle noises in Bitwig after updating Ubuntu... Honestly, not easy to setup but OMG this rocks!!! Fast, robust, a great experience for power-users! Just make sure to not use the AUR package repo (paru or yay commands) due to malware issues.
