Liar. Small boat crossings peaked under Johnson in 2022 reaching 46,000 in 2022. In current year they are 18,565 and falling. Also prior to Boris Johnson's Brexit there were none.
It's a disaster, and it can all be traced to
Labour ideology. Burnham has no mandate
from the people. He has no real ideas, and
no plan,

Why are Russia banned from playing football by authorities but Israel are not? Both stand accused of an illegal war and atrocities, Israel of a genocide. The response to Russia was swift. Are these double standards? Is it a level playing field?

London's homicide rate hit its lowest level since records began. Yet 40% of the public thought that murders had risen since 2019. That’s the danger of disinformation. We cannot accept it, and to defeat it, we’ve got to put pressure on the social media companies who profit from it.

Wildfire in Clacton
AS temperatures soared on Friday, Essex fire authorities reported things were so bad that a man's pants had caught fire.
The individual, identified as Nigel Farage, had claimed Essex police had told him to keep away from his by-election declaration.
"We've never seen such an enormous fire coming from a single pair of Union Jack Y-fronts," said a police spokesman. "We urge members of the public to avoid pants on fire by at least coming up with a half-decent excuse for their cowardice."

For 2024, a green bar runs up to 4000, with a dark green running to about 5000. The text "40% lower" is on the lighter green bar. Text at the top of the graphic reads "Estimated air pollution deaths are down by around 40%. New analysis estimates deaths associated with air pollution in London reduced substantially between 2019 and 2024." Text at the bottom of the graphic reads "Note: darker shading shows estimated ranges. Data based on a comparison of estimated mortality burden using updated methods and a scenario-based analysis where only air pollution changes. Source: london.gov.uk/aqmortality". Cue the usual cliches - "if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen", or "he's a fascist, he deserves it" - all of which say more about those uttering them. But we need to accept that not all the problems with our politics come from above. "We, the people," have responsibilities too.
