Yesterday I translated a poem from the early 1930s that completely rewired my brain, especially these lines: "nicość / przepaści głodna". My translation: "the nothingness / hungry for abyss". (It could also read "the hungry nothingness / of the abyss" bc of the fun indeterminacy of Polish grammar.)
