"To read Daniela Cascella is to be swept into an ongoing conversation within a maze of words, of voices, of images, of moments that catch one off guard, inspire, alarm. Her writing is energetic, continually in motion, seeking, questioning, listening for echoes in time and space." -- Joseph Schreiber

Yesterday, Ansgar Allen told us about big publishers charging authors thousands to make their own work "open". Today, we highlight a book born from exactly that frustration - when two academics were charged unreasonable fees to reprint their own work, they made it un-reprintable - on purpose!
