these games are too layered and involved with philosophical, theological, and overall narrative theme to not be about that primarily. the characters are merely blorbos to tell that story. "xenoblade genesis is connected to the other games" because the story of xeno is not yet complete

the way i see xenoblade fans talk about "connections to other games" is so weird to me, because the connection is not lore but rather the continuation of its thematic elements. we see the same kinds of narrative structure and character building in gears and saga as we do in blade

teachers can only "operate like a cop" because everyone in america is allowed the structure, and ability, to act like a cop. it is not a unique profession that gives it this attribute. schools became more cop-like from carceral politicians and racists
