2009 me, aged 25, vs. 2026 me, aged 42. Growing up, I loved watching both pro wrestling and strongman. If 10 year old me could see what we've achieved, I think they'd not only be happy, but excited. All the bullying didn't stop us in the end.

Last full week of training, then a week off before Kent's Strongest Man. Today was log press, every minute on the minute. My thinking was that if 70kg is 1 rep and done, 75kg was gonna be a problem on comp day. But... this felt good.

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.
