Do lecture recordings impact attendance? Students sharing that in person has value, recordings are not a substitute; opportunity to ask questions easier in person; format of lecture not engaging in person; individual motivation; issue of marked absent when ill, even if using recordings(!) #altc24

Learning design work tends towards solutions. LDs are structurally disadvantaged to have to focus on solutions. However, when granted the opportunity to act as experts, and treated as experts didn't look for solutions, but scenarios and can have conversations. - @donnalanclos.bsky.social #altc24
