Loved Season 1 and wanted the story to explore the relationships between trauma, consciousness, sentience, and rebellion as an expression of free will, and to extrapolate those themes to define class consciousness. But the show was more interested in time jumps and brain swaps instead of revolution

Westworld Season 1 was one of the best seasons of TV. It promised the viewer a story of revolution by an emergent group of underclass beings gaining class consciousness to overthrow their capitalist oppressors. Then the showrunners kept getting in their own way with unnecessary plot distractions
