I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if AI can't improve productivity of coding, then all other claims about productivity improvements are essentially horseshit. Coding was the one thing everyone was like "well yeah of course it will be able to do that faster"

This just means you have to do a 3D face scans for the governments AI mass surveillance program. So they can "enforce" a copyright claim. Stop uploading photos and stop using digital cameras, go back to film cameras to protect you identity.

It bothers me, too, that all of this requires entire fields of power, water-hungry machinery (but the water problem is overstated, I hear the smartest people in the room tell me often, a rejoinder that deadens my soul because if I learned tomorrow of a dickhead factory that used only a thimble of the stuff to churn out the most hideous fascist-adjacent text and imagery I should still want to burn it to the ground.

It is not unusual 4 a Cafe 2 display a sign that states where the coffee beans come from. While they are so opposed 2 immigration but wear clothing, eat/drink coffee/tea food from other countries = a weird type of hypocrisy.
