Today I spent several hours writing a Tetris tiling algorithm and optimizing it only to find out there's a GitHub repo that does the exact same thing but several thousand times faster... But then I found out it misses some cases so my version is technically more accurate so I'll take that as a win

I took the plunge and finally got a 3D printer. My current experiment: Printing Distorted Ellipsoidal Saddle keycaps for my keyboard! Left: 0.4mm nozzle Middle: 0.2mm nozzle Right: 0.2mm nozzle, but printed at 45° angle The right one feels buttery smooth, but broke off while printing.

I tried installing SteamOS and Bazzite on my old tablet PC to squeeze a bit more performance out of it and SteamOS doesn't run on non-Steamdecks, an open source reimplementation of it doesn't run on Intel GPUs, and Bazzite simply won't boot off of USB-Sticks so you can't install it. Linux is great
