I just found out that apparently Don't Call it Mystery　spawned a derogatory term in Japan, and that term is "politically correct afro". I'm pissing myself laughing, that's my politically correct afro boy fr (affectionate) Totono get behind me 😤

there's a reason Yumi Tamura changed her art for Don't Call It Mystery and it's specifically because she didn't think her shoujo heavy artwork was palatable enough to read a wide audience and then wouldn't you know it DCIM becomes an even BIGGER hit then her already previously big hits

You can do this directly through the video player or via Viki's Help Center on their website...”

reddit:

Viki hasn't communicated anything about these changes and refuses to answer our questions, which has left many of us volunteers feeling confused and uncertain.
That's why l'd like to ask for your help.
If you notice subtitles that seem strange, contain errors, are incomplete, if there are issues with the audio or subtitle segments, or if a completed project still doesn't have subtitles in your mother tongue and you see that there's no subtitle team assigned-or only "vikisubteam" is listed as the CM-please consider reporting it to Viki. You can do this directly through the video player or via Viki's Help Center on their website, maybe even write it into the comments under their posts on instagram.
We sincerely hope that Viki will return to its previous approach and once again give volunteers the opportunity to improve the subtitles before viewers have to rely solely on Al.
My fellow volunteers and I would truly appreciate your support.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this rather long post all the way to the end.
I hope you all have a wonderful evening!

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

Check it out, in 7 days my band, Ardennes, releases a new album, their debut "A Traveller's Tale Pt. I". Here is the album cover i made! if you like epic symphonic power metal, please check it out, we've put alot of time and care into this.

a crystal ball held up by a thin stand. Inside the ball, a landscape of red shifted green trees and mountains, with blue and purple skies reflecting off the river that flows through the middle, accompanied by a bridge connecting the two massive lands. in the sky a reflection of an eye, and the shape of the villan's mask forms behind the eye in the clouds. behind the crystal ball are various shelves, with concept art plastered on the back walls. the objects on the shelves include pins, jugs, spare paper, bottles, a green shiny egg, a clock with a horse on it, a snail with a bow, a statue of the hero, a necklace, a sigil of a horse head, a squirrel skull, books, coins, a key to the jewelry box holding a sculpture of a gear shaped object in a glass display. the text says "Ardennes" and "A Traveller's Tale Pt. I"
