I initially approached this by debating it from the other angle, but after some reflection, I think we may have been talking about the same thing. When sci-fi asks whether a robot has personhood, the follow-up question—explicit or implied—is often: "Does this robot deserve equal rights?"

How much did Apple increase prices on products in 2025 due to tariffs? Zero. This was so noteworthy, it made headlines. I get that Senator Warren isn't a fan of big tech, but she should cite Apple as a positive example (with regard to tariff refunds) instead of tarring it with the same brush.
