For today’s #BirdOfTheDay main theme #BestBeaks by @helenbennett.bsky.social I’ve chosen the Oystercatcher. They always look to me as though they’re carrying a carrot 🤣 but they are amazingly strong, efficient beaks used as either hammer or chisel for opening shellfish #ECK 🪶
