Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Very few horror films creep me out these days but this one did. Has a real atmosphere to it and a handful of scenes that I still remember vividly. +1 on the recommendation. 110
Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Bandcamp order in before closing time 🙌 It’s rare to go in blind on an album these days, but (a) I had a lovely evening of nice food and drink with some pals and this chimed with that while I had my last whisky, and (b) I trust you two. Looking forward to sitting down with it. 010

Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Yeah he’s never been a training ground manager by all accounts but I still struggle to believe that he’s happy to go with whatever he’s told to go with on match day whether it’s John Robertson or Shaun Maloney. That must be at minimum a joint decision. 000
Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I think he’s a strong enough character to choose the tactics. But it doesn’t look like we’re well prepared on the training ground for whatever those are right now. 110
Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I think if we line up 4-3-3 then we’ll be lucky to get out with a draw. We don’t move the ball fast enough right now to make it work. Too predictable I think we need to try something different (McInnes curveball at Ibrox won them that game). 2nd half on Thu suggests MON maybe thinks the same. 111
Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Worryingly, I read MON’s Changing Game this week and I now recognise his philosophy in our recent performances. He talks about how you can coach defending but when it comes to attack it’s really just down to ‘the team with the best players will usually win’. If that’s the extent of our tactics… 011

Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 27/08/2026That’s fair. But there is a thread that runs through Plaid Cymru, Sinn Fein and the SNP, which sets up the potential for a strategic alliance that addresses the imbalance of power that the three nations face when it comes to No.10. Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 13/08/2026OK but TBF that bit should be easy. No other NATO member pays for another’s nuclear weapons. This idea of independence negotiations being tricky, therefore we should just forget the whole thing, is weak. There’s lots of worthy arguments for and against. I just don’t think that’s one of them. 110
Martin B @martinb8.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Less than 10% of NATO member states have nuclear weapons. Outside of the money Scotland would put in to NATO as a whole, I’m genuinely unsure why we’d have to pay to maintain England’s nuclear arsenal? 110
