I partly agree. What Celtic need is strong fan-representation in the boardroom, no matter who the biggest shareholders are. That's why i support the aims of @celticsupporters.bsky.social , the club could well fall into the hands of someone worse than Desmond and we are powerless to influence that.

Start with what we know someone with 34% of the shareholding runs the PLC as a business not a football club and we allow it so we are to blame as well until we fix this problem nothing will change getting angry at anything else is just wasting our time and energy 🍀

CSL wrote to the Celtic board on 9th June requesting a meeting. No reply. Not even an acknowledgement. Seven weeks later, the club launches “Celtic Connect” a structure they control, with members they choose. Celtic ignored the shareholders who did the work. This is managed PR, not engagement.

Reality is if 50,000 fans signed up to @celticsupporters.bsky.social then that would provide enough income to finance up to 29% of the shares, at that level you have huge influence, you can stop resolutions for a start
