Countries are an artificial construct and there are many things wrong with the idea, but also... I am autistic and counting things calms me down. I have now visited 50 countries and I think that's kinda cool.

7/Diving in the experiences of participants, we found that there is a misalignment between the threats and defences. Tala told us that the several cybersecurity trainings she attended focused on protecting devices but overlooked online gender violence.

When my then wife died eight years ago, an elderly friend responded: "I'm sorry to hear that. How are you doing?" It beat the awkward and overly dramatic responses from pretty much anyone else. We had lost touch, but this week I learned he himself died. So I sent his wife the same message.

Today is exactly twenty years since I moved out of the Netherlands. I'd never recommend an autistic person with chronic anxiety to do that kind of thing (and then move countries several more times), but I'm very glad I did it.
