I don't know how else we can explain to people that if Trump says "I can get away with it" and you let him get away with it he's *right*, even if the law is written in a way that means he shouldn't get away with it. I don't know how to explain that in a way a liberal at the NYT can understand.

The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

FYI: In Berlin leben ca. 35,000 Juden, tendenz steigend. Fast alle sind migrantisch (vor allem aus: Israel, USSR, Nord-Amerika). Nur ein 1/4 ist in der Jüdischen Gemeinde organisiert, die anderen sind jünger, eher liberal und sehr viele sind links. Mehrere wollen gar nicht" als Juden" sprechen.

Ich war die Tage unterwegs in Neukölln und habe im Rahmen eines Filmprojekts, an dem ich der Zeit arbeite, mit vielen Menschen gesprochen. Speziell bei der Arabischen Community sind es hauptsächlich zwei große Sorgen: Kriminalität - die vom Staat nicht ernsthaft bekämpft wird - und sowohl alltäglicher als auch strukturierter Rassismus - besonders durch den Staat, der sie aufgrund des Migrationshintergrunds gegen die Kriminalität im Stich lässt - auch Deutsche Medien werden stark kritisiert, sie würden die Arabischstämmigen pauschal als Kriminelle und Terrorist:innen darstellen, positive Berichterstattung über sie finde überhaupt nicht statt.

Ebenso stellt der Aufstieg der AfD für sie eine große Bedrohung dar, sie hoffen mit der 'Linke' könnte endlich eine Partei was dagegen tun, von den anderen Parteien - auch aufgrund der Unterstützung des Genozids in Gaza - sind sie massiv enttäuscht.

The 1994 treaty between Amman and Tel Aviv was based on the understanding that Israel would stop insisting on the liquidation of the Palestinian national movement and the forced transfer of millions more refugees across the Jordan River but Israel has not stopped doing this at all.
