Cadence is the Lab Manager for the Brauer Group Lab. Her research interests include stereotyping and prejudice within the criminal justice system, as well as how interpersonal interactions and relationships are shaped by social group membership. Her recent work examines how the differential application of leniency in criminal sentencing is influenced by alignment with racial stereotypes. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Applied Statistics, from Smith College.
