Climate breakdown is a national security threat. Nature loss puts our food, water, health, economy and stability at risk. The Government no longer has the luxury of time. We need urgent action and a dedicated Climate Protection Unit. We need a Number 10 for the future.

The Suffolk County Council Green Group have called for the Climate Emergency Declaration to be reinstated by the Reform-led council following the devastation caused by the wildfire on Dunwich Heath. Full story: midsuffolk.greenparty.org.uk/2026/07/31/g... #Dunwich #ClimateEmergency #Suffolk
Graphic with a dark, smoky painting of a wildfire across heathland. White text reads: “The wildfire at Dunwich Heath makes it abundantly clear that Suffolk, like the rest of world, is indeed experiencing a climate emergency.” The quote is attributed to Annette Dunning, Green County Councillor for Halesworth, Suffolk County Council Green Party Group Spokesperson for Communities, and Green Party Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich.
