I think one thing that Republicans should really know better is that like, a lot people in Texas already know Paxton. His corruption case was not a short one. He got impeached by his own party. They also spent a lot of money trying to stop him this spring. People know who he is.

I think this VA-01 in this environment I definitely winnable, but Wittman is definitely an overperformer. What makes me sad is VA-5. Tom is a great candidate but this version is even redder than the one he won in 2008. He’d need literal nuclear turnout in Charlottesville. I think he comes up short.
