My maternal grandmother was a tailor. When my mom was pregnant with me, she ran the family tailoring shop (while being a school teacher) and she had a good eye for what fabrics and silouettes work for what clients... Anyways Dressmaker has made me realize I didn't inherit any of that talent lol

A lot of games use text boxes, character sprites + dialogue choices, but full-screen CGs are SO underutilized as a storytelling mechanic in non-VN games, especially if you can't afford to make animated cutscenes. It just brings so much emotion to the scene, like bursting into songs in a musical.

Great video! My first foray into poetry was as a lyricist. Every Chinese character is one syllable, so the songwriters just gave me files full of "ah-ah-ah"s and let me do my thing. This video puts it beautifully: Why is it hard to make Chinese music? Because Chinese *is* music.
