![[Image ID: A plum background with light green trim. Text reads: Urgent mutual aid request! Queer, disabled student couple facing ongoing food insecurity and seeking help to maintain housing. Because we are students, our lease is set into 2 lump sums yearly. Shifts in student loans has left us short by $1,700. Our rent is due by September 15th.
Maeve is unemployed and Brennan is underemployed. Unfortunately we have only been getting deeper in debt to the point that Maeve’s checking account is in the negatives. It is currently -$215 and will soon begin incurring overdraft fees.
We are so grateful for our community and the ongoing support we have received locally. We, like so many others, are in a tough spot. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Goals.
Rent: $0/$1,700
Debt and food: $0/$500

A photo of Maeve and Brennan are pictured in the corner. Maeve and Brennan are white, nonbinary people. They are smiling at the camera while wearing of their graduation regalia from this May (they are beginning their next degrees in August to clarify)]

There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This...is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.
