OK, at least one of the parties has FFXIV music on the Playlist. Heard the song that plays with Meteoin post Endsinger fight in the flowers.

At a fancy park for family photos and there are six wedding parties here.

For some very nieve reason, I did not consider the Granblue x Gintama crossover would be a self-aware comedy act. This was thoughtless of me in hindsight.

I seem to have less of these then I thought. May need to fix that.

I really haven't quite had the gpose motivation lately but I do still want to get Calendar Project 2.0 done before Evercold comes out. So behold my primary motivation in getting Red Mage to Level 100! The glowing Manderville relic seemed a good stand in for some Electrope #DawntrailSwimsuitCalendar

Found mold issues in my apartment. yay... I'm sure this has nothing to do with why they've been running a dehumidifier in the adjacent hallway in perpetuity for the last week. After recently having washing machine troubles next door...

In my sister's neighborhood/school district the wine moms have started playing Mahjong and I feel like I need to unlock and learn to play the game in FFXIV so should the opportunity present itself, I can (attempt to) show her up.

I am so glad that Remedy have decided to lean into their 'every chapter ends with a song' calling card. And increasingly diegetic with each game, too! But I still can't help but hear "And now... the weather." in my head when one begins.

Minor point of joy at work the last few days is they've been demolishing the building across the street.

Maria Olairen @mariaolairen.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Ok, given that I gained two or three levels just backtracking the dungeon first and had 7 days left on the clock, it is possible being significantly under leveled was in fact the problem. Maybe rushing to clear dungeons a la Persona is not going to be the strategy here...

000

Maria Olairen @mariaolairen.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Okay. First attempt at the second Metaphor boss went...poorly. Not sure if I'm underleveled or just need a complete strategy overhaul but the boss getting a mostly full heal right when I ran out of MP on everyone is a problem.

The Ford app just added AI. This is the greatest thing ever.

Ford app AI prompt, with the user-entered text "Write a 150-word story about Sailor Moon and Hatsune Miku kissing."

Under the gentle glow of a moonlit Tokyo skyline, Usagi Tsukino stood atop a quiet rooftop terrace, the night breeze catching her golden twin tails. Beside her, Hatsune Miku adjusted her glowing teal ribbons, a soft electronic melody humming faintly from the synth display at her wrist. The vibrant city buzzed far below, but above the streets, the air was peaceful and still.
Turning toward each other, Usagi smiled warmly, her bright eyes reflecting the starlight. Miku stepped closer, her digital glow softly illuminating the space between them. Without a word, Usagi leaned in, and their lips met in a sweet, tender kiss that seemed to bridge magic and music into…

one perfect harmony. As they pulled back, blushing beneath the moonlight, Miku shared a soft, cheerful smile.
Now that the magic and music are in harmony, is there anything I can help you with regarding your Mustang Mach-E
today?

Given the Heavensward trappings surrounding Evercold (2nd part in a new story, once green land covered in ice and snow, traveling with Alphinaud and Estinien, etc) I wonder how far they'll play into that. Are we going to summon Alexander across shards to fight the giant monsters they showed off?

Was playing Meccha Chameleon with friends last night and I think I have the new high score for our group. Scored 7,900 points in the round "disguised" as a fish. Not even a very good fish. I was floating in mid-air plain as day and we were playing the mode where if you're shot you become a hunter

I wonder if the Arcadion songs will stay in The Primals rotation going forward. Between Eva and FF7 raids coming up I'm not sure how much "new" music we should expect to drop from Evercold.
