Oh it is so late this does not bode well- Basically the complete opposite mood from yesterday's post LMAO. I figured since I'm going monochrome I should try a manga-adjacent vibe! Also, Quinn what are you teaching GV-?! Day 2: Genderbend #gunvolt #azurestrikergunvolt #CountdownToGX

Genderbent GV and Copen are going on a date, with GV holding Copen's arm. Text, left to right, reads: "What are you doing, Adept?" "We're on a date, right? Quinn said this is what couples do."

I actually really likeher #xiaotablet #aotuworld

Rei (also known as Ling iirc) from Aotu World

The main drawing is her looking surprised, a hand by her chest and the other down by her side. On the top right is her name (Rei) in the Aotu alphabet, and under it are the two names she’s known by in English. Next to her name is a doodle of her looking like she’s chewing

Xiao Yamaguchi concept sketch bleeeeeeegh Xiao Yamaguchi is from an alternate timeline where essentially Xiao and June in the mainline timeline had their roles swapped. So then in this one Xiao ended up the mechanic while June is the hacker dude. This Xiao also made Trigger’s gun #xiaotablet

sketchbook photo of concepts for xiao yamaguchi

On the left is a mini outfit sketch, and then on the right is a halfbody shot of Xiao Yamaguchi looking a bit awkward as he holds a hand by his face or some bs

I took inspiration from both June’s outfit and young Anmicius (Aotu World)’s outfit for this version of Xiao. I kept the goggles and the gloves (but they’re a different kind) and kinda kept the crop shirt and exposed legs thing. He also has June’s utility belt I guess

Some more progress was done for this artwork. Only 2 boss characters are left and some mild background change, then I'll start shading it. In fact, I'll do it all for a speedpaint video only showcasing the color-shading part.

Wave, Nick, Florance and Rex.
Only Astra and Margaret are left to be finished.

daniel standing. yeah basically the first image but his eyes are open. his left hand is up with some summoned shapes via his meta "roaming cube". the shapes are a cube with the edges cut down, and a... what is that. a... um. cone. i guess. theres a star on the bottom of the cone and on a side of the cube

fumbled this one #ceruleandays

caramel toffee soriano sitting on a dessert-themed chair holding a giant decorated spoon (kinda cut off). she has a bit of whipped cream on her face and has a surprised or curious look on her face while she points at herself. lace and strawberries decorate the edges of the image in a bit of a scrappy way? there are two hearts on the left. one has a closeup of carame's face with her tongue sticking out, eyes obscured. the other one is a closeup of the chibi illustration of her hanging out on the side of the whipped cream shaped pillow on the chair

idk yk i was mainly iffy on sharing this at first because caramel's design is like. more on the suggestive/sexualized side but i fumbled the composition on the final so bad that i actually dont give a fuck anymore </3
