Most of these Buechner sermons were given as a guest preacher. He did not have to then live with his hearers. So he could say stuff like- "It is no easy matter to save us when half the time we don't even want to be saved because we are so at home in the darkness that is home."🕯😊

We had a wonderful "Season of Creation" Eucharist today @stjohnsdixiechurch.bsky.social , in an All Ages Eucharist, led by the youth and children of our congregation. Always chaotic. Always so much fun. Always exhausting....I need a nap!
