Alberta and Ottawa said any new pipeline would be privately funded. Today that promise was broken: a private company will cover just 10%. Taxpayers will front up tens of billions of dollars. If oil exports are such an economic opportunity for Canada, why won’t companies invest? buff.ly/Ao6yGt3

At this point I'd be happy to make Canada a state since it would mean 50 more Democratic congressional

My garden is starting to bloom with daffodils, hyacinths, and a tulip. #Bloomscrolling

Hyacinths: red, purple, white, pink, and blue.

Tulips in the green buds stage. They are "Red Matador" variety, red petals with a black base inside.

Tulip "Halley's Comet", scarlet petals shading into deep yellow.
