The Goku car reminds me of a car I would see in a parking lot in Irvine about 7 years ago that was painted with the cat from Persona 5 on it. One day I went over to take a picture and a guy started yelling at me. No rapping sadly.

This happened to me at Ralph's! I applied for a pharmacy Technician position and they instead put me in the Starbucks kiosk. I was furious.

he's thinking about what it'll be like to be a big celebrity.

the diminutive character Biddy Blas, sat on a box. he's a sort of gnome alligator hybrid wearing a padded harness and a helmet.

Matt and Richard are awful (Richard in particular) but Chloe and Nina have been fun I thought.

I like these new characters but I feel like the main cast is big enough as it is. Hope we see them again but that they dont become main cast. I absolutely love Swan Boy's description of this event with the car. I like that even Swanboy understands Republicans are dumb.

I guess take the aisle seat next to Noel, I'm sure he'd complain the whole time but I can just wear headphones.

MarcusSparchs @marcussparchs.bsky.social · 16/10/2026

I'd say Rona except she has the window seat and I'm worried that she's too anxious to ask if I would get up so she can use the toilet during the flight. I feel like Swanboy would steal my onflight bag while I went to use the toilet. Sitting next to Cassie would be cool but Chris is there too. Huh

My two favs Shin and Noi from Dorohedoro🫀🔨🍜

Shin and Noi from Dorohedoro. The illustration is an overhead shot of them both standing in an elevator full of beaten up bodies. Shin is standing coolly holding his hammer, glaring up at you. Noi is walking in laughing, holding a roll of bin bags in one hand and two cups of instant ramen in the other.

It's always weird when they draw Aunt May with a Joker chin. From ASM #224

Aunt May calls Peter Parker. Her chin sticks out at an angle like a mutant Jay Leno. From Amazing Spider Man 224

The TA storyline lasted a long time and that's the weird bit where he drove the secretary with a crush on him insane and gaslit her afterwards. Also, one of the other TAs turned out to be an alien from Jack of Hearts' species out of NOWHERE. Also, his Chinese coworker was in a Triad gang.

Also true, just thinking in terms of all the bronze age comics Ive been reading. But yeah, it does mention at one point that because of the classes he dropped as an undergrad he spent one extra year before getting his bachelor's. He went straight to being Doc Connors' TA from there.

It's so weird, peter spent like a year total in high school before graduating then spent about a decade as an undergrad then almost 15 years as a Teacher's Assistant and grad student. I can believe he's not quite 30 I guess since they spent so long with him being in grad school.

@hausofdecline.bsky.social I really liked this strip. I have been informed by my Arabic speaking friends that to get an even friendlier welcome try wearing Grendizer merchandise as that was the anime that first got Arabs addicted to anime.

A Haus of Decline comic. Panel 1, two Travellers to Jordan discus how they'll communicate without knowing Arabic. Panel 2, one of them says "Dont Worry I know the Universal Language", Panel 3 he reveals his Goku shirt to a Jordanian man, Panel 4 the man shouts "AAAh Goku!" And smiles, the traveller in the shirt responds "Goku!"

So is Crystal referring to "The Napoleon Technique"? Are Noel's issues here actually from his time with "The Device" or is it just because of when he was hit by a car and had to undergo physical therapy?
