Thalamic feedback shapes brain responses evoked by cortical stimulation in mice and humans - Nature Communications
Neural mechanisms underlying thalamic contributions to evoked potentials by brain stimulation, which has been widely used for therapeutic interventions, are not fully understood. In this translational...

Thrilled to share our latest work on how glioblastoma integrates into brain-wide networks using rabies-mediated retrograde tracing!🧠 So grateful to have been part of such a big team effort! @svenjaktetzlaff.bsky.social @venkataramanilab.bsky.social

The Venkataramani lab had an incredible time at #SNO2024! Very proud of Ekin Reyhan presenting our work during the Plenary Session, and so proud of Svenja Tetzlaff @svenjaktetzlaff.bsky.social & Julia Wagner for their poster presentations. Can’t wait for next year’s conference in Hawaii!

Neuroscientists often collect whole-brain gene expression cell count data. But its hard work and expensive, so the datasets usually have n~10 animals for maybe ~100 brain regions. Bad regime for trad stats! We developed a better Bayesian method for these data: elifesciences.org/reviewed-pre... 1/6
