ko-fi.com/blualgae/goa... I hate to ask but if anyone has the means, I would truly appreciate any and all help with the veterinary bill. I will still do commissions to cover most of it (hopefully) but if anyone can and wants to help, here’s my ko-fi ♡

Insomnia again. Went to get a snack from the kitchen and I could almost see the “your pet cockatiel will remember this” notification pop up in the top right corner of my field of vision

Insomnia. Craving impulsive haircut but rather than it becoming shorter I want it to become longer. Difficult.

ppl really don’t understand what it’s like to be in so much pain that you have to bite into your own skin in order not to scream out and worry the neighbours ON THE DAILY bc if they did I don’t think they’d tell me shit like “the reason i didn’t text you for months is bc you also didn’t text me”

/pos (From David Larbi’s Frequently Happy)

Picture of a page from a book with the words, “In the difficult situations where a relationship is hugely changed or even lost because I have requested a boundary be respected, I have had to remind myself that the healing process is something that can be completed, whereas the continuous hurt from not feeling heard or respected becomes far more painful over time. Establishing our boundaries is difficult but worth it.It's very important for our self-protection and hugely important for our self-care.”

I did the same line art thing with this. I think it looks way cool. #blualgaeart #aquarelle

An aquarelle painting of a blue hercules beetle with its wings spread out. The carapace is a dusky teal colour and the body and legs are dark with some red hues. The wings are brown and orange and slightly see through. There is a slight purple cast shadow to give the painting a more three dimensional look. Two sets of line art has been added on top of the painting digitally. One line art is white and off centre of the left and one line art is black off centre to the right.
