We found some of these, though without bronze. It was a very, very odd feeling. They are beautifully made, with multi-process craftsmanship. The sclera was white marble, carefully carved and smoothed to shape, with a high polish to the surface, and the corners of the eyes delicately painted 1/

I spent last night chasing this Treehopper nugget (genus Smilia) around the black light trying to get a good photo. Sadly no good focus stacks were able to be shot as it WOULD NOT HOLD STILL. I love it so much😻 #Insects #MacroPhotography #Invertebrates
