mannen37.bsky.social @mannen37.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I installed all Moog on the front end of my 69 C10, and pretty much immediately after heard that they're shit now. But, the parts seemed good, installed correctly, and have held up fine over a year and admittedly not a lot of miles. I'd bet you're probably fine 010

Between those, the Maverick hybrid, and the upcoming Ford small EV truck, it seems to me like a very small sliver of available market for Slate. And the price/value seems iffy to me to sell the 150k/year they say they need 000

mannen37.bsky.social @mannen37.bsky.social · 24/07/2026I'm into it, kinda. I have kids so a 2 seater just won't work for me, and by the time you build it out with a back seat I can't figure a way it makes sense. I wish them well, but I don't think a huge number of people want a small 2 seat truck, lacking the most basic amenities. 100

mannen37.bsky.social @mannen37.bsky.social · 01/08/2024I think there might be a somewhat innocent reason for this. Brake calipers are the part that squeeze the brake pads to slow down a car. Race brake calipers are for race cars. Maybe people not getting this hear the term somewhere, and think it's "racial". I guess still weird, but less? 110
