okay so I tried to draw up some of the ideas in my head for slimeflora in the #slimeghostau #hibirenwrites concept sheet! :D drawing is hard 😭 samples of: galaxy slimeshroom, a "pine" slime tree with fruit, and a wineflower! So their comfort plants, their "food", and their (non-pond) hydration <3

Slimeflora / concept by hibiren <3
2/2026 / for my slime!Ghost AU
(I tried... lol... drawing is hard y'all)

"Pine" Slime (with fruit)
On the far left, a pine-tree-like sketch with pinkish, curling needles and a green trunk. Several varying sizes of pear-like fruit adorn the branches and are mostly yellow, with colorful designs in pink and green. The description beside it reads, "Slimefruit is colorful and its patterning and flavors vary."

Wineflower
In the middle of the image, a rose-like flower with thorns is tipping over, weighed down by a heavy trail of slime pouring from its cup-shaped bell. It appears by itself with its long, thorn-coated stem indicating it has been pruned or picked from its bush.

Galaxy Slimeshroom
In the upper right, a large blue-purple glowing mushroom appears to have several swirling pink and blue galaxies scattered across its surface. its mushroom shape is slightly transparent, and the backside and the underside of the mushroom are slightly visible through its umbrella.

Additional notes:
In the top right corner, a note that reads: "No AI use permitted. (no training/theft/no reposts, etc)" with an arrow pointing up toward it and text below that reads "I worked hard on these designs >:[

* all can be (potentially harmful) dangerous to humans* *(if consumed), can be used in medicine?
* Only sprout from planted slime eggs (or "seeds")
* Slimefruit are a slime's only biologically-compatible food source.
* Slimeflora keeps a slime hive healthy by regulating temp/humidity

Scribbled out a vague idea of how I envision slime!ghost. plz PLZ be gentle with my attempt bc I am NOT an artist 😂 as long as you can see my concept, it's good enough for me? lol (closeups to follow bc my handwriting is TINY on this and I'm not sure how readable it'll be on screen) #slimeghostau

Slime!Ghost concept art as drawn (poorly haha) by hibiren. Ghost's body is dark grey. His eyes are golden. His signature skull mask is incorporated into the design by its inclusion as a chipped fragment of what appears to be a human skull that covers his face. Several bones of varying sizes scatter across his body in a vaguely humanoid structure. Think "gelatinous cube" monster style.

Ghost's egg pouch is a darker grey and contains golden/glowy eggs inside it; it is roughly cantaloupe-size in this particular rendering, indicating the eventual growth of eggs inside it meaning he's early in his egg cycle. The pouch sits low between his hips, close in location to where a human uterus would be.

Inside the pouch, the eggs are bunched tightly together. They are squishy and flexible unless Ghost becomes eggbound, in which case they begin to calcify and become extremely painful/difficult to lay if the pouch seam can't split wide enough to accommodate the harder "shells" of the calcified eggs.

Found this #gladnis comic in my backups from 2021. I think about this comic every day. I still think it's funny. #ffxv #Ndraws

A digitally illustrated, grayscale comic featuring Ignis Scientia and Gladiolous Amicitia from Final Fantasy 15. They are at their campsite and Ignis is preparing food while Gladio eats.
Panel 1: Ignis: "Honey?" Gladio: "Y-yes, dear?" Gladio is sitting on his camping chair behind Ignis and has small blush lines on his cheeks.
Panel 2: Ignis turns to look at Gladio with a mug in his hand. Ignis: "I mean with your tea, love." Gladio's face is completely covered in blush lines from embarrassment. Gladio: "...Oh."

So I started working on a little something for the ace writer ghost idea. Totally not channeling my own life experience here or anything LMAO hopefully you can feel the comedic sarcasm of Tired Ace in this one gotta say tho. age gap 40s/20s ghostsoap is good stuff. mmmmm #hibirenwrites #ghostsoap

At nearly 40 years old, Simon thought he’d had a decent grip on his voice as a writer. He’d found his niche and a regular audience after he began writing erotica online five or so years ago. At first it was for shits and giggles after one too many drinks, but then when he realized people actually enjoyed what he wrote, he couldn’t stop. Anything that kept his fingers going and kept his mind busy was good enough. It would have been funny, a good setup for a romcom, even, if it wasn’t so pitiful: Simon Riley, the asexual almost-not-quite-senior with zero real-life erotic experience who paid his bills writing filthy smut for an audience of men, women, and in-betweeners who were reliably in their 20s and early 30s, if his presence at adult writers’ groups was anything to go by.

If the plot of his life would go the way it usually did in every cheap cliche-riddled mass-market romance, Simon would surely meet his dream partner by pure chance and lose his virginity to said partner after a week because they hit it off and curiosity got the better of him after years of self-enforced sexual sobriety. Naturally then he’d realize he missed out on life when he shut himself away from the world as a teenager and would want to die after needlessly suffering decades of depression and wasting his years away, until his lover-in-shining-armor swoops in to rescue him from his spiraling with a long, mushy, sappy, tongue-twisting kiss. And they would marry and live happily ever after and fuck like rabbits, The End.

Yeah, fat chance of that happening.

In reality, Simon found sex disgusting. It was wet, sticky, sweaty, and far too much effort to chase the elusive satisfaction everyone else bragged about and hungered for like it was some kind of addictive substance. Maybe something just wasn’t connecting, in his brain. Maybe that nasty fall down the stairs he’d had back when he was ten knocked some invisible plug loose in his mind and there was no way to plug it back in. (*character limit)

Here they are! The four shiny new (military barbie dolls--I mean--) bois I can have my fun with >:] #codocs #hibirenwrites #62niverse check the alt text for more info about em! ;] they're certainly a very entertaining bunch already 🥰 Bastion - Bookworm - Lavender - Toybox

Sebastian "Bastion" Andrews. Team medic. Oldest of the group at 35 years old, therefore also the Unofficial Official Group Dad. Tired but it's because he spends so much time agonizing over being prepared for Anything and Everything. Is the "strong silent" type, a man of few words until you get to know him.

[a man with dark brown hair and grey-blue eyes, staring into the camera with a steady expression. His face is lightly freckled, and he has a hint of a beard. He is wearing a dark sweater-type shirt and is holding up one hand, which is wrapped in bandages.]

Dorian "Bookworm" Jett. Team intel/covert ops specialist. He's 28 and usually acts as the "Morally Grey Cop" to Toybox's "Unhinged Bad Cop" bit. (He and Toybox tend to be paired together on assignments and work very well together when they're not engaged in playful bickering, showoffery, or competition.)

[a man with green eyes and bright blond hair. His hair has a single black streak on the viewer's left side. He has a bandage on the side of his face, and he appears to be scowling. He is wearing a black shirt with the top two buttons loose.]

Lucian "Lavender" Grant. Team sniper, age 30. Has a huge HUGE crush on Bastion, but is far too shy to admit it. Unfortunately fits the "damsel (femboy) in (queer) distress" trope, but won't admit that either, if he even realizes that. He prefers to work alone, or as long-distance support whenever possible and is a talented sharpshooter. (The glasses are mostly for show/light filter glasses to prevent eye strain.) Toybox's combat style is too loud for him, and Bookworm asks too many questions. Bastion is the only man he's truly comfortable around, though he does consider Toybox and Bookworm his friends.

[a man with pale brown hair, tied back into a short ponytail. He has brown eyes and is wearing glasses; he also has a bandage on his face covering an unseen injury on one cheek. He looks uncomfortable; his gaze is averted from the viewer. He's wearing a black scarf, a red undershirt, and a tan overcoat.]

Chase "Toybox" Mitchell, age 27, EOD. Youngest, shortest, highest-energy, and most flexible of the group. Spent several summers (up through his college years) as a regular attendee of a popular circus camp and could have had a career as a professional clown/jester in NY but sidestepped all of that to join the military instead (yes, this is serious LOL).

[a man with sharp teeth, bleach-white-blond hair, and brown-red eyes. There's a scar on his face, and he has finely shaved eyebrows. He appears confident, but also subtly like he hates having his picture taken. He's wearing a plain black turtleneck-style sweater.]
