On the Thai Restaurant massacre in Gaza last week: www.dropsitenews.com/p/massacre-t... "I would come to the restaurant at least twice a week to finish my articles—to report the genocide of my people to the world. I thought it was a safe place, but in this land of death, there is no such thing."

Edan Alexander being released: He's an American from New Jersey who left the US to join the Israeli army. He was captured from an army base near Gaza. He should never have been there & serious questions should be asked of those in his life who encouraged him to join the apartheid regime's military.

Netanyahu claims Israel breaking the ceasefire, imposing a starvation siege & killing 2500 people is why Hamas will release Edan Alexander. Hamas had said it would release him right before the ceasefire was broken. He would've been home 2 months ago if it weren't for Netanyahu.

Israeli settlers in civilian vehicles stormed the town of Sa’ir, north of Hebron, firing indiscriminately and causing civilians—including children—to flee in panic.

Did not expect to see this headline from The Guardian. It’s good to finally be getting clarity in the language around Gaza. “UK’s F-35 exports more important than stopping genocide, lawyers to argue”

Yahya Sobeih's last post this morning: a picture with his daughter, born earlier today. A few hours later, he was killed in an Israeli airstrike with at least 28 other people in Gaza City. Pictures show parents and children among the dead as people had gathered to find a wifi connection & buy food.

Since launch, @dropsitenews.com has had some of the best English-language coverage of the Gaza genocide. They use journalists on the ground and give credence to local sources & political actors-which should be standard for all media but clearly isn't. Happy to have joined their livestream this week.

Israel's prison service put out the image on the left today, of Palestinian prisoners in an Israeli torture camp under a large picture of Gaza's destruction. The guy who runs these camps was in Mar A Lago today, to call for bombing...food (see his own post) in Gaza.

A 2017 Amnesty Intl report on Israeli water policies found Palestinians in the occupied West Bank consume 73 liters per day (WHO recommended daily min is 100L). Israelis living in the same place consume 300L per day. In Gaza today, it's SIX liters per day. www.amnesty.org/en/latest/ca...

Around the same time the Israelis were firing missiles at tents in the displacement zone in the south, they also hit a tent near Kamal Adwan hospital in the north. Footage is graphic.

10 people burned to death tonight, after an Israeli airstrike, on a tent, in the “humanitarian zone”. Somehow, 18 months in, the apartheid regime still finds a way to shock you with its depravity.

What does it take for someone's soul to be this emptied
From Axios
Reality check: The sentiment within the party about rallying behind deportees is not universal.

The second House Democrat who spoke anonymously, a centrist, called the deportation issue a "soup du jour," arguing Trump is "setting a trap for the Democrats, and like usual we're falling for it."
"Rather than talking about the tariff policy and the economy ... the thing where his numbers are tanking, we're going to go take the bait for one hairdresser," they said, likely referring to Andry Hernandez Romero.
Only if Trump tries to deport U.S. citizens, the lawmaker argued, will Democrats need to draw a "line in the sand" and "shut down the House."

Very few people talk about hiding Palestinians and allies and other targeted groups facing this fascist regime’s kidnappings and trains to concentration camps. What does that conversation look like and when does it begin in earnest.

Feeling helpless about Palestine? Start by confronting the self-censorship that silences you. That fear is the goal of a decades-long propaganda campaign—and as long as it works, it wins. You don’t have to let it. And you don’t have to compromise your personal beliefs or ethics to speak up.

Btw, Israel issued an evacuation order to the hospital before bombing. So there was no target hiding or receiving treatment inside. The target was the hospital itself.

The two-page memo, which was obtained by The Associated Press, does not allege any criminal conduct by Khalil, a legal permanent U.S. resident and graduate student who served as spokesperson for campus activists last year during large demonstrations against Israel’s treatment of Palestinians and the war in Gaza.

Rather, Rubio wrote Khalil could be expelled for his beliefs.

He said that while Khalil’s activities were “otherwise lawful,” letting him remain in the country would undermine “U.S. policy to combat anti-Semitism around the world and in the United States, in addition to efforts to protect Jewish students from harassment and violence in the United States.”

If any other country murdered an American child, it would be a crisis. But Israel murders a 14-year-old Palestinian-American, & it doesn't even come up when Trump & Netanyahu meet at the White House. For Trump, Israel is above the law, even when they kill an American kid.

Glad this is getting coverage but telling how until the videos were found, most outlets ignored the story even as PCRF & UN officials were telling the world their aid workers had been murdered. Even as it carries out a genocide, the Israeli army's credibility is rarely questioned.
